Crash Chaos in Ashford: Driver Arrested After Early Morning Smash
Kent Police are hunting for witnesses and dashcam footage after a nasty collision in Ashford on Saturday, 19 October 2024.
Wrong-Way Van Collision Shakes Ashford Roads
The crash involved a white Ford panel van and a blue Ford Focus. The van was heading down the eastbound one-way slip road onto the A2070 Bad Munstereifel Road from the Park Farm roundabout when it slammed into the Ford Focus, which was reportedly travelling the wrong way.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene at around 6 a.m. A man was treated by paramedics, while a 47-year-old Ashford local was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving. The suspect was taken to hospital for treatment and has since been released on bail.
