Man Charged After Horrific Double Shooting in Kensington

A man is in the dock over a shocking double shooting that left a 34-year-old man and an eight-year-old girl hurt on Sunday evening.

Suspect Faces Serious Charges

Jazz Reid, 32, from Kensington, has been charged with two counts of attempted murder, plus possession of a firearm and ammunition. He is due to appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 29 November.

Grim Scene on Southern Row

The shooting happened at 5:30 PM on Southern Row, W10. Both victims suffered gunshot wounds. Emergency crews rushed them to hospital where their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Police Hunt for Witnesses

The Met’s Specialist Crime Command is leading the investigation and urging anyone with info to come forward. Witnesses are urged to contact police on 101 or message @MetCC on X (formerly Twitter), quoting reference CAD 5238/24NOV24. Anonymous tips can also be sent to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
