Young Mum’s Sudden Death Shocks Bridgnorth Community
The family of 27-year-old Bethany Wooldridge is reeling after her sudden and mysterious death just days before Christmas.
Tragic Collapse at Home
On December 17, Bethany was found collapsed at her Worfield home near Bridgnorth. The cause of death remains unknown, with an inquest opened and adjourned as investigators seek answers.
A former West Midlands Police officer, Bethany left behind her husband Josh and their three kids: Alyssia, 10, Lylah, 7, and Tommy, 4. Josh described the family as “heartbroken” and “devastated” by the loss.
‘Bee’ – A Fierce Protector and Loving Soul
Known as “Bee” to friends, Bethany recently moved her family to what she called her “dream place.” She had stepped away from the police in January and also worked with West Midlands Ambulance Service as a call handler.
Her sister Tory paid a moving tribute:
“Beth was the absolute best thing in our lives and we all absolutely adored her. Her loving, caring, thoughtful nature will never be forgotten. She was so fierce when it came to her children and husband, protecting those she loved more than anything. She had such a beautiful soul, and we were all so proud of her.”
Community Rallying Behind Family
To help with funeral costs and support Bethany’s family through this dark time, a crowdfunding appeal on GoFundMe has raised more than £2,500 from 148 donors so far.
Tory shared on the fundraising page:
“As a family, we are broken and will continue Beth’s memory forever. Words will never describe the hole she has left in our hearts that can never be filled.”
The family asks for privacy as they grieve but welcome support through donations.
