Man Rescued by Firefighters Using 32-Metre Ladder After Fall in Stoke Newington

Emergency services were called to Spensley Walk, Stoke Newington, Hackney, N16, after a man suffered serious injuries following a fall on scaffolding.

The incident occurred earlier today, with reports indicating the man required urgent medical assistance. London Ambulance Service (LAS) attended the scene but needed assistance from London Fire Brigade (LFB) to safely bring the injured man down from height.

Firefighters deployed a 32-metre Turn Table Ladder (TL) to carry out the delicate rescue operation. The man was carefully brought down and handed over to paramedics for immediate medical attention. His condition remains unknown at this time.

A large emergency presence was reported in the area as police, fire crews, and ambulance teams worked together to ensure the safe extraction of the injured individual.

Authorities are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident, including whether health and safety measures were in place at the site.
