Sussex Police are seeking help to identify a person of interest connected to a spate of business burglaries in the Arun district.

The individual, spotted wearing a distinctive yellow and black jacket, is believed to be linked to five burglaries targeting businesses in Rustington and Littlehampton earlier this month.

The first incidents occurred in the early hours of 14 January, with Lemon Grass, Fig Café & Tapas, and Clipper Street in Rustington’s The Street all targeted. Windows were smashed, and a small quantity of cash was reportedly stolen.

A week later, on 22 January, two charity shops—Link to Hope and St Barnabas House in Anchor Springs, Littlehampton—were also broken into. Police have not confirmed if anything was stolen from the charity shops, but officers suspect the same person may be responsible for all five break-ins due to the similar circumstances.
