Urgent Appeal to Find Missing Teenager from Sevenoaks

 

Kent Police are appealing for the public’s help to locate Jay Barton, a 19-year-old teenager who has been reported missing from Sevenoaks.

Last Seen in Otford

Jay was last seen at around 10 am on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, in the Pilgrims Way area of Otford, near Sevenoaks. Police and his family are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

Description

Jay Barton is described as:

  • Approximately 6ft tall
  • Dark brown, shoulder-length hair
  • Stubble on his face
  • Wearing grey jogging bottoms, a black t-shirt, black Nike trainers with the laces undone, and a black waterproof coat
  • He may also be carrying a grey backpack with blue lining

Appeal from Police

Officers are urging anyone who may have seen Jay or knows of his whereabouts to come forward.

A spokesperson for Kent Police said:
“We are extremely concerned for Jay’s safety and urge anyone who may have seen him or knows where he might be to contact us as soon as possible. His family is desperate for news, and any information, no matter how small, could be crucial.”
