Missing Teen Jay Barton: Kent Police Launch Urgent Appeal
Kent Police are desperate for help to find 19-year-old Jay Barton, who vanished from Sevenoaks earlier this week.
Last Seen Near Otford
Jay was spotted at around 10am on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, on Pilgrims Way in Otford, close to Sevenoaks. Since then, there has been no sign of him. Police and his worried family fear for his safety.
What Jay Looks Like
- Approx. 6ft tall
- Dark brown shoulder-length hair
- Stubble on his face
- Wearing grey jogging bottoms, a black t-shirt, and black Nike trainers with undone laces
- Black waterproof coat
- May be carrying a grey backpack with blue lining
Police Plea: Have You Seen Jay?
Officers urge anyone who has spotted Jay or knows anything about his whereabouts to come forward immediately.

“We are extremely concerned for Jay’s safety and urge anyone who may have seen him or knows where he might be to contact us as soon as possible,” said a Kent Police spokesperson. “His family is desperate for news, and any information, no matter how small, could be crucial.”
