Davina McCall has stunned fans with the brilliant news: she is officially cancer-free after brain surgery removed a 14mm tumour.

Brain Tumour Fully Removed

The 57-year-old TV favourite revealed on Instagram that a recent MRI showed the tumour had been completely taken out, with no sign of it coming back. Last year, Davina underwent surgery for a benign colloid cyst, spotted during a routine health check linked to her menopause advocacy work.

Davina’s Emotional Message

“So, here it is. Our final brain surgery update. Had the final MRI this week. @brainsurgeon.uk got everything out during surgery, it’s not coming back. Thanks so, so much to everyone at @onewellbeck and @clevelandclinic.”

She thanked her close circle, including her mother, partner Michael Douglas, best friend Sarah, and her children for their incredible support.

“I am so so grateful particularly because I know a lot of people have inoperable tumours… I’m lucky to be able to draw a line under this and move on with my life when so many people can’t.”

Davina also delivered a stark warning:

“Benign does not mean fine.”

Fans and Stars Celebrate

The TV world and fans flooded social media with support. Presenter Rochelle Humes said: “The best news. So happy for you x.” Author Donna Ashworth called it “fabulous news”, and influencer Claire Hattrick added: “Just brilliant news! Sending you all a huge hug!”

Championing Women’s Health

Davina has been praised for using her voice on women’s health and menopause awareness. The tumour was discovered thanks to a check-up sparked by her activism. Her openness is boosting vital talks about routine screenings and brain health.

Ready to Move On

“To @brain.surgeon.uk for being the GOAT. I’m just gonna say this one more time: Nothing comes between me and my @Garnier,”

Davina joked, mixing honesty with her trademark humour as she looks forward to the future with a clean bill of health.
