Two Dead and Woman Critically Injured in Horror A45 Smash
Tragedy struck on the A45 between Thrapston and Raunds Saturday morning when two cars collided, killing two people and leaving a woman in hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Fatal Crash Details: Ford Fiesta and Ford Puma Collide
Northamptonshire Police reported the crash happened at 11:45am. A Ford Fiesta and a Ford Puma smashed on the busy stretch linking the A45 to the A14 near Thrapston.
One man died instantly at the scene. A woman later died in hospital. Another woman remains seriously injured and is receiving critical care.
Police Urge Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Authorities are appealing for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage of the incident or the vehicles beforehand to come forward.
The A45 is a key single carriageway route with heavy traffic at that time. Police stressed that any information could be vital to their investigation.
