A serious road traffic collision has led to the closure of Brighton Road in Coulsdon North, with emergency services on the scene and a motorcyclist reported to have suffered serious injuries.
The crash, which occurred earlier today between Station Approach Road and A237 Lion Green Road, is understood to have involved a vehicle striking a motorcycle. According to early reports, the rider was thrown from their motorbike and sustained significant injuries.
Emergency responders, including police and ambulance services, were quickly dispatched, and the road has been shut in both directions to allow for collision investigation work.
