Two Men Stabbed Outside Liverpool Wine Bar – Police Hunt Key Witness
Detectives are on the hunt after a vicious stabbing outside Yates’ Wine Lodge, near Liverpool bus station, left two men fighting for their lives. The attack happened at around 7.35pm on Friday, June 17.
Victims in Critical Condition
Emergency crews rushed the pair to hospital with serious stab wounds. Both remain in critical but stable condition. Police suspect the attack was targeted and are keen to track down anyone who can shed light on the brutal assault.
Police Release CCTV Image of Man Who Could Help
After scouring CCTV footage, Merseyside Police have released an image of a man they believe holds vital information. Detective Inspector Chris Saidi urged the public: “If you recognise the man in the picture, please contact us. He may be able to help with our ongoing investigations.”
Community Reassured Despite Shocking Incident
Authorities insist the stabbing was an isolated attack with no wider threat to Liverpool city centre. They reminded residents that Liverpool holds the Purple Flag status and remains one of the UK’s safest cities for a night out.
