Young Biker Seriously Injured in Horror Van Crash Near Harlow
A motorcyclist in his 20s was rushed to hospital with serious injuries after smashing into a van on Sheering Road, close to Harlow.
Emergency Rush to Scene
Emergency services were scrambled at around 12:45pm on Saturday, April 12, following reports of the nasty crash. Essex Police, East of England Ambulance Service, and the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance all responded, sending two ambulances and an ambulance officer vehicle.
The motorcyclist was treated at the scene before being driven to Addenbrooke’s Hospital. His condition is serious but stable.
Road Closed, Investigation Underway
The road was briefly shut to allow emergency crews to work and gather evidence, causing traffic chaos. It has since reopened.
Essex Police stayed at the scene into the afternoon, urging witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward to aid their investigation.
