A desperate search is underway for two teenagers who have now been missing for over a week, as their families plead for their safe return.
Daniel Pall and Isabelle Wilkins, both 16, vanished from their homes in Cardigan, West Wales on Monday, April 7, and have since been spotted twice, including 40 miles away in Aberystwyth and later in Llandudno.
The pair, who are believed to be in a relationship, were last seen boarding the T1 bus in Aberystwyth at 12.36pm on April 10, reportedly carrying camping equipment. That same evening, they were spotted at Llandudno train station around 8.20pm, where they asked for directions to Dolgellau, prompting police to widen their search across North Wales and beyond.
No Phones, No Contact – Families Plead for Return
In a heart-wrenching appeal, Daniel’s father, Dave Pall, urged the teens to get in touch:
“Dad’s here waiting for both of you, just get in touch. Your relationship will carry on and we will support it,” he told WalesOnline.
“Just get in touch so we have you here safe and sound, and then we will look at the future for both of you, which is a good future.”
He added that Daniel and Isabelle had left their mobile phones behind, even allegedly ditching them on a bus to avoid being traced.
Who Are Daniel and Isabelle?
- Isabelle Wilkins is described as 5’3″, with blonde hair, although she may have dyed it darker.
She was last seen wearing:- A black parka coat with a fur-trimmed hood
- Grey jogging bottoms
- Carrying a black backpack
- Daniel Pall is thought to be around 6’1″, with short dark brown hair and shaved sides.
He was last seen wearing:- Dark blue jeans
- A black t-shirt
- A black collared coat
Police say both teens were seen carrying large bags, leading officers to believe they may have changed clothes since their last sighting.
Widening the Search
Dyfed-Powys Police said the teens are known to have connections in Gloucestershire, Merseyside, and North Wales, and potential sightings have been reported in the Forest of Dean and surrounding areas.
“Their families are increasingly concerned for their safety and welfare and eagerly await their safe return home,” a police spokesperson said.
The T1 bus, which the teens used to travel, connects Carmarthen to Aberystwyth, suggesting the pair may be travelling by public transport across remote and rural areas.
