Police officers searching for missing 17-year-old Mihran Khachatryan from Hardwick, Cambridgeshire, have sadly located a body believed to be his.
Mihran had been reported missing after he was last seen on Monday, 21 April 2025. Extensive search efforts were launched by local authorities, supported by community members and volunteers.
Formal identification of the body has yet to take place, but officers have informed Mihran’s family, who are receiving support during this incredibly difficult time.
A police spokesperson said:
Our thoughts are very much with Mihran’s loved ones as they process this devastating news. We ask the public to respect their privacy as investigations continue.”
The circumstances surrounding Mihran’s death are not yet clear. Authorities have not indicated whether they are treating the discovery as suspicious, but a full report is expected following formal identification procedures.
