Danger in your pasta jar! An urgent recall has been issued for Organico’s Organic Alla Norma Sauce over fears some jars may contain shards of glass. Shoppers are warned: do not eat this sauce.

Glass Found in Popular Pasta Sauce

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has ordered the immediate recall of Organico’s Organic Alla Norma Sauce—a rich mix of aubergines, tomatoes, and garlic. The batch in question is number 140227, with a best before date of February 14, 2027.

  • Product: Organic Alla Norma Sauce
  • Sold at: Including Ocado and other major retailers

Organico has urged customers:

“Please do not consume. Return the product to the retailer for a full refund. If the retailer refuses returns, please contact us directly.”

So far, the company has not explained how glass fragments ended up in the sauce.
