A violent stabbing spree at a music event in Plumstead has left one man with life-changing injuries and sees all five victims arrested. The shocking attack unfolded in the early hours of Saturday morning, sending shockwaves through the local community.

Five Stabbed at Packed Music Event

Police and emergency services were called to Nathan Way, SE28, at around 4:20am on Saturday, 17 May, following reports of a stabbing among a crowd of roughly 300 revellers. Five men, aged between 22 and 32, suffered stab wounds.

While none of the injuries are currently deemed life-threatening, police confirmed that one victim has sustained life-altering damage.

All Victims Now Arrested

In a stunning twist, all five injured men have been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder. The Metropolitan Police have launched a major probe to uncover if others were involved in the frenzied attack. A crime scene remains active on Nathan Way as detectives carry out forensic work and hunt for witnesses.

Police and Ambulance Service Respond

Detective Inspector Steven Andrews said: “Officers responded quickly to provide medical assistance alongside the London Ambulance Service and ensured the safety of around 300 people at this music event.”

“The five men injured have been arrested for violent disorder. We are continuing to investigate potential wider involvement.”

“Police presence will remain on Nathan Way as this investigation continues. We urge anyone with information to come forward.”

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson added: “We were called at 4:17am to reports of the stabbing. Ambulance crews, paramedics, an incident response officer, advanced paramedics, and London’s air ambulance attended the scene. Three patients were treated onsite before hospital transfer.”
