Weapons-Wielding Brawl Erupts at Primark in Westfield Stratford

Chaos broke out at Primark inside Westfield Stratford on Thursday night as a violent fight involving teenagers and adult men armed with weapons shook the busy store. The shocking melee unfolded at around 7:20 PM during peak shopping hours, leaving shoppers stunned.

Armed Clash Sparks Police Hunt

The Metropolitan Police rushed to the scene after reports of eight to ten males battling it out inside the high street favourite. Some suspects are believed to be under 18, and weapons were definitely involved, officials confirmed.

“Police were called after a group of approximately 8–10 males, some of whom are suspected to be under 18, were seen fighting with weapons inside the Primark store in Westfield Shopping Centre in Stratford at around 19:20 hours on Thursday, 1 May 2025.

Officers are looking to identify those involved and are appealing for any information which may help.”

No arrests have been made yet. CCTV footage from Westfield is being examined as police launch an urgent probe into the violent disturbance.
