Emergency crews rushed to the scene following reports of a serious road traffic collision. Shocking photos reveal one car lying sideways against the low boundary wall of the Tollgate pub, headlights still blazing and lighting up the wreckage. The second vehicle was also involved but remained upright.
Emergency Services Confirm No Injuries or Arrests
“Officers were called at 22:22 on Thursday, 3 July to High Road, Romford, following reports of a serious collision,” a police spokesperson said. “Two cars collided. Both drivers were treated by paramedics at the scene. No further injuries were reported.”
The fire brigade confirmed, “Two cars collided. There were no injuries.” No arrests have been made, and the road has now reopened.
