Man Busted After Massive Worthing Drug Haul
A man is behind bars following a major drug seizure in Worthing. Sussex Police’s Tactical Firearms Unit stopped a Vauxhall Insignia on Grafton Road on Tuesday 9 July as part of a targeted crackdown.
Huge Haul of Class A Drugs Seized
Officers then searched a nearby Grafton Road address with the Tactical Enforcement Unit. They uncovered over 350 wraps of suspected Class A drugs, believed to be crack cocaine.
Suspect Remanded Ahead of Court Appearance
The arrested man is due to appear at Crown Court next month.
Inspector Robert Hart said: “Our officers safely arrested a suspect in a vehicle, and further searches were completed at an address in Grafton Road. This shows our determination to disrupt the supply of Class A drugs which cause so much harm in our communities.”
Investigation Still Underway
Police confirmed the probe into the case is ongoing as they continue efforts to clean up local streets.
