Tragic Southend Airport Crash Claims Life of German Emergency Doctor
The second victim of the Southend Airport plane crash has been identified as Dr Matthias Eyl, a 46-year-old German emergency doctor and paramedic. Dr Eyl, a devoted father from Kleinmaischeid, western Germany, was one of four foreign nationals killed when a Beechcraft B200 Super King Air exploded into a fireball moments after takeoff at 3:48pm on Sunday.
