Essex Teen Busted for Kidnap and Gun Crime After Harlow Incident
18-Year-Old Arrested in Harlow Disturbance
A shocking disturbance rocked Harlow on Thursday afternoon when an 18-year-old man was caught up in a firearm incident. Thomas Pasquariello, from Westmill Road, Ware, Hertfordshire, faces serious charges including kidnap and firearm offences after police swooped following reports of shots fired near Barn Mead.
Charges Laid After Thursday’s Frightening Firearm Discharge
Police were called to Barn Mead playing fields at around 4pm on 31 July after reports of a disturbance involving a discharged weapon. Pasquariello was arrested the next morning on Friday, 1 August. He now faces multiple charges including:
- Kidnap
- Threatening a person with an offensive weapon in a private place
- Possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence
- Assault by beating
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear in court soon.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
“Our investigation to make this case as strong as possible is ongoing. I’m asking anyone who was in the Barn Mead playing fields area between 3pm and 4.45pm on Thursday to come forward if they witnessed anything or have information. Even the smallest details may assist us.”
