Huge House Blaze in Enfield!

Eight fire engines and about 60 firefighters raced to a major fire on Hertford Road this Sunday afternoon.

The blaze erupted at 3.21pm, swallowing half of the first floor and the entire loft of a semi-detached home.

Massive Firefighting Effort

London Fire Brigade deployed one of its powerful 32-metre turntable ladders as a water tower to douse the flames from above.

Fire crews from Enfield, Chingford, Edmonton, Tottenham and nearby stations jumped into action after receiving 12 emergency calls. They had the fire under control by 5.20pm.

Thankfully, there are no reports of injuries so far.

Road Closure Causes Chaos

Hertford Road remains shut between Putney Road and Bullsmoor Lane. Drivers are urged to avoid the area while emergency crews continue their work.
