Detectives investigating the fatal stabbing of 16-year-old Joshua Ingram in Seaford have made two additional arrests.

On Friday, 19 September, officers arrested two boys, aged 14 and 16, at addresses in Seaford on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. The 14-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to possess a firearm. Both remain in custody.

Joshua’s family have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers. We continue to ask that their privacy is respected. I urge anyone who has any information that could assist our work, no matter how small it may seem, to get in Touchtouch with us as soon as possible.

Emergency services were called to Seaford railway station at around 5pm on Wednesday, 10 September, following reports of a stabbing. Despite the efforts of paramedics, Joshua was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 16-year-old boy arrested at the scene has already appeared before Brighton Magistrates’ Court and later Lewes Crown Court, where he was remanded in custody until his next appearance on Monday, 24 November.
