Man in 40s Seriously Assaulted in Swindon Premier Store

Violent Attack Shocks Penhill

A man in his 40s was brutally attacked just before 4pm last Sunday (28 September) inside a Premier shop on Alton Close, Penhill, Swindon. Emergency services rushed to the scene after reports of the assault.

Despite serious injuries requiring hospital treatment, police confirm the victim’s condition is not life-threatening or life-altering.

Three Arrested, One Still on Bail

Police arrested three suspects related to the attack. Two have been released with no further action, while a 34-year-old man remains on bail, suspected of inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent.

The store was cordoned off for hours as officers collected crucial evidence. Swindon police continue their probe into this vicious assault that has left the local community reeling.
