preston/">Preston police are hunting a man linked to a series of shocking crimes that have rocked the town. The suspect faces charges for attempted theft, racial abuse, and indecent exposure—all in the St Wilfrid’s area over a month ago.
Churchyard Horror Unfolds
It all kicked off just before 1pm on Saturday, August 16th, at St Wilfrid’s Church in Winkley. The man launched a racist tirade and tried to snatch valuables from victims inside the church. But it didn’t end there. Outside, in the church courtyard near the entrance, he brazenly exposed himself to the public.
Police Plea: Can You ID This Man?
Officers admit the CCTV footage isn’t crystal clear but urgently need the public’s help.
“We know these images aren’t perfect, but if you recognise the man or saw what happened, please come forward. Any footage or info could make all the difference,” a police spokesperson said.
