Notorious Paedophile Found Dead Before Sentencing
A vile paedophile from Swindon was found dead just hours before he was due to be sentenced. John Goff, 66, had confessed to a string of horrific crimes involving children and animals.
Disturbing Crimes Uncovered
Goff admitted creating 75 indecent pseudo-images of children, including 16 at the most severe level depicting penetration. These vile images involved boys and girls as young as six and seven, collected over nearly a decade from 2014 to 2023.
He also pleaded guilty to holding 18 extreme pornographic images involving animals and two banned child images.
Death Rocks Swindon Ahead of Court Date
Set to face time behind bars at Swindon Crown Court, Goff was due to be sentenced in September. Instead, he was discovered dead at his home in Gorse Hill just a day before the hearing.
Following his confessions, Goff had registered as a sex offender at Gablecross Police Station in Swindon, but now he will never face justice for his revolting crimes.
