£1,000 Reward for Wanted Man After Brutal Isle of Wight Assault
Police hunting a man connected to a vicious attack on the Isle of Wight have issued a £1,000 bounty for information leading to his arrest. The assault happened late on Tuesday, 22 November 2016, leaving a 51-year-old victim injured but later released from hospital.

The victim was attacked between 11.30pm and midnight on Newport Street, Ryde. He suffered injuries to his face and leg. Officers are determined to bring the attacker to justice.

Henry Thomas Henderson is wanted for questioning over the assault. Police believe he fled the area and may have been spotted in Wilmslow, Cheshire, as recently as February 2017. There’s concern he might now have left the UK altogether, with officers seeking a European arrest warrant to track him down.

“Incidents like this are very rare on the Isle of Wight and this is clearly a high priority for our team. We urgently need to speak to Mr Henderson and ask anyone with information to come forward,” said a spokesperson.
