Tragic Death After Motorbike Collision in Keston
Police rushed to Croydon Road, Keston, at 2.57pm on Tuesday, 18 April, following reports of a crash involving a motorbike and an 87-year-old pedestrian.
Emergency Services Battle to Save Victim
Officers arrived alongside London Ambulance Service paramedics and London’s Air Ambulance. Despite their desperate efforts, the elderly pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
His family have been informed and are receiving support from police.
Motorbike Rider Arrested Over Fatal Crash
The 23-year-old motorbike rider was arrested on suspicion of driving offences and remains in custody at a south London police station.
Witnesses Urged to Come Forward
