Tributes Pour In for Freshwater Man Killed in Isle of Wight Crash

Heartbreaking tributes have been paid to Steven Harry Thurman, 30, who died following a single-vehicle crash on the Isle of Wight last Friday.

Fatal Collision on Military Road

Steven, from 1 Road, Freshwater, was driving a Daewoo Tacuma along the A3055 Military Road near Chale when the accident happened between 10.45pm and 11pm.

Family Speak Out in Grief

His devastated mum, Linda Thurman, said:

“The loss of our son Stevie has left the whole family devastated. We are heartbroken knowing that we will never see him again and that he will now miss out on seeing his four-year-old son, Harry, grow up. You will be loved and missed so much, forever in our hearts and thoughts.”

Steven’s dad added:

“Stevie had such a big heart and our hearts will 1 you and remember you always.”

Other Passengers Hurt, Investigation Ongoing

A 33-year-old man and 25-year-old woman in the car suffered minor injuries and were taken to St Mary’s Hospital.
