Emergency services are scrambling at a major collision hotspot in Leatherhead, Surrey. The crash happened at the busy junction of Leech Lane and Lodgebottom Road, sparking road closures and chaos for drivers.

Surrey Police and Firefighters Rush to Scene

Surrey Roads Policing officers are in charge of managing the crash site. Meanwhile, a Leatherhead fire crew was dispatched after paramedics from South East Coast Ambulance Service called for backup.

A Surrey Fire and Rescue spokeswoman said:

“Firefighters were called at 11:23am on Saturday and left just after 12:43pm. We were requested mainly for manpower support. It’s unclear if cutting equipment was needed.”
