Emergency Services are dealing with a serious collision in Leatherhead in Surrey

Officers from Surrey Roads Policing are currently dealing with a serious collision at the junction of Leech Lane and Lodgebottom Road. Due to this there are a number of road closures in place. Drivers are being advised to avoid the area and seek alternative routes. Other emergency services have also been called to the incident. One Fire Crew stationed at Leatherhead where requested by Paramedics from South East Coast Ambulance service. A spokeswoman for Surrey Fire and Rescue service said that fighter fighters were called at 11.23am on Saturday morning and left the scene just after 12.43. It is unclear if crews used cutting equipment to free any of those involved. The spokeswoman said the request was made more for man power. South East Coast amublance have been contacted and have yet to comment further. More to Follow
