Man Arrested and Charged Over Fatal Camden Crash
Police have arrested 32-year-old Alistair McWilliams in connection with a deadly collision in Camden.
Manhunt Ends with Arrest
Officers from the Roads and Policing Transport Command launched a search for McWilliams after the early morning crash on Thursday, 23 August. The suspect, who has no fixed address, was found and taken into custody.
Serious Charges Filed
On Friday, 14 September, McWilliams was formally charged with four offences:
- Causing death by dangerous driving
- Failing to stop after a road accident
- Causing death while driving unlicensed and uninsured
- Aggravated vehicle taking
Next Steps in Court
McWilliams is remanded in custody and is due to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 15 September.
