Tooled up Police Officers with Battering Ram and Hoodlum bar raid Shanklin property making Two arrests
Tooled up Police officers armed with Door Enforcer and Hoodlum Bar have smashed through the front door of a property in Shanklin on the Isle of Wight this afternoon. Police descend police on to North Road in Shanklin following what is understood to be a preplan raid. Two arrests have been made by officers shortly after putting in the door. Witnesses have described how police officers entered a property on North Road with crowbars and a battering ram. Specialist drugs dogs have also been deployed to assist in the raid. A team of officers from the Force Support Unit have also been called to the property where four Police vehicle remain whilst a search is carried out at the property. Hampshire Constabulary said: We can confirm that specialist officers executed pre-planned warrants at addresses on North Road in Shanklin this morning (Wednesday 15 May). “The warrants relate to an investigation into the supply of drugs. “Two men and a woman have been arrested as part of our investigation. They remain in custody at this time. “Enquiries are ongoing”.
