Heavily armed cops stormed a Shanklin home this afternoon, battering down the door with a ram and crowbars. The dramatic raid on North Road saw two arrests made as officers swooped in a pre-planned operation targeting drugs.

“We can confirm that specialist officers executed pre-planned warrants at addresses on North Road in Shanklin this morning,” said Hampshire Constabulary. “The warrants relate to an investigation into the supply of drugs.”
Two men and a woman were arrested during the raid and remain in custody. Police confirmed enquiries are ongoing and urged anyone with information on drug-related crime to contact the Ventnor Neighbourhood Policing Team on 101.
