Man Charged with Attempted Murder After Brutal Stabbing in Southsea
Serious Assault Rocks Middle Street
Police have charged Sherwan Ali, 27, from Middle Street, with attempted murder following a vicious stabbing on Monday, 28 February. The victim, a 33-year-old Southsea man, was found with multiple stab wounds to his chest, face, and hands.
Victim Rushed to Hospital
Officers were called to the scene at 2.34pm. The injured man was quickly taken to Southampton General Hospital, where he remains in stable condition.
Suspect Held in Custody
Ali was remanded in custody and is set to appear at portsmouth/" title="Portsmouth" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Portsmouth Magistrates Court today, Wednesday 2 March.
