Chaos erupted at a Brighton post office when two knifemen tried to rob the shop but fled empty-handed after a fierce struggle.
Scary Hold-Up at County Oak Post Office
Just after 10.30am on 24th February, two males on a red scooter rocked up to the County Oak Post Office on Carden Avenue. They barged in brandishing knives and threatened staff to open the till.
But their plan hit a snag when shopworkers fought back. One woman was injured in a struggle, suffering a hand wound. The pair then scarpered without stealing a thing, racing northbound on their scooter.
Suspects Still At Large
- Both wore all-black jackets
- Tracksuit bottoms and trainers
- Helmets during the hold-up
