Man Suffers Facial Injuries in Shelton Street Assault

A man was left with facial injuries following an attack in the early hours of 16 April 2022. The incident took place around 1.40am on Shelton Street, St Ann’s.

He is currently in hospital. Thankfully, police say his injuries are not believed to be life threatening or life altering.

Three Arrested Over Grievous Bodily Harm

Officers arrived at the scene within minutes and launched an immediate investigation. Two women, aged 32 and 30, plus a 53-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

All three remain in police custody as inquiries continue.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

“Violence of this nature is unacceptable,” said Detective Sergeant Jon Kerry of Nottinghamshire Police. “We’re doing everything to keep this behaviour off our streets and bring those responsible to justice.”
