Tragic scenes on the A27 as a motorcyclist dies in a horrific collision near Fareham. The smash happened just before 6pm on Friday, 24 May, close to the Argos store in Titchfield.
Deadly Crash on Eastbound A27
The victim, a 40-year-old man from Fareham, was riding a Honda motorcycle eastbound when he suddenly crossed into the opposite lane and slammed into a car. Emergency services rushed to the scene, but sadly, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead there and then. His family has been informed.
Dark-Coloured Sports Car Spotted – Police Want to Talk
Officers are piecing together how the tragedy unfolded. Initially, they sought information about a Porsche Panamera-type sports car seen travelling alongside the biker. Now, the vehicle is described more broadly as a dark-coloured sports car.
Police say: “We want to speak to this driver as they may hold crucial information.”
