Dog Walker Punched Unconscious in Shocking Maidstone Attack

A dog walker was knocked out cold in a brutal, unprovoked assault near Maidstone. The attacker? A motorbike passenger who jumped off and landed a solid punch to the man’s face.

Wheelie Stunt Ends in Violence

The incident happened at around 2pm on Friday, 29 April 2022, on Boxley Road, Penenden Heath. Despite the road being closed for works, a motorbike was spotted doing wheelies and driving recklessly. The victim, out walking his dog, raised his arms in objection. That’s when the passenger leapt off, punched him, and the victim hit his head hard on the pavement.

Both the biker and the passenger then sped off down Penenden Heath. An off-duty police officer rushed to the scene and called an ambulance. The victim was taken to hospital but has since been discharged.

Cops Hunt Young Thugs in Black Balaclava

PC Paul Otter of Maidstone CID said: “This was an entirely unprovoked attack, which caused the victim to strike his head on the pavement and could easily have led to more serious injuries.

“The bike had no number plate and was driven away towards Pendenden Heath. We have conducted extensive house-to-house enquiries and are checking all available CCTV footage. Residents in Boxley Road and nearby are urged to review any private CCTV or doorbell cameras — you might hold vital clues to help our investigation.”

The men are described as young, late teens to mid-20s, both dressed in black. The attacker wore a black balaclava, is white, about 5’7”, with striking pale blue eyes.
