Hand Grenades Found During Dramatic SE1 Police Raid
Police swooped on a Tabard Street home in SE1 at around 7.20pm on Tuesday after welfare concerns raised alarm bells. Armed officers from the Met’s elite SO15 unit joined the raid.
Explosives and Firearms Discovered
The raid uncovered two suspected hand grenades and firearms inside the property. Neighbours were quickly evacuated as bomb disposal experts moved in to assess the dangerous items.
Man Arrested Over Firearms Offences
The male occupant was arrested on suspicion of firearms offences and is now in police custody. Investigations are ongoing.
