Man Left Fighting for Life After Brutal Attack in Manchester
Drama unfolded on Tib Street, Manchester city centre, just before 6.30pm on Thursday, June 23. Police rushed to the scene after a 62-year-old man was found unconscious following a vicious assault.
CCTV Catches Suspect Fleeing Scene
Camera footage shows the victim being attacked near the junction with Hilton Street. The attacker, a male, then fled down Hilton Street before turning left onto 1 Street, vanishing into the night.
Police Hunt Witnesses to Help Catch Attacker
“This was an attack on a male who remains in hospital in critical condition, and his loved ones are no doubt desperate for answers,” said Detective Constable Tamsyn Muller of Longsight CID.
“We’ve combed through CCTV and followed multiple leads. Now, we urgently need the public’s help to identify the man in the footage or anyone who saw what happened.”
