Kent Police’s Crime Squad swooped on a suspected thief behind a string of burglaries in Petham and nearby villages. The offences occurred between late December 2023 and early January 2024.
Man Charged With Five Burglaries
Jamie Slingsby, 44, was arrested on the evening of Tuesday, 9 January following intensive police enquiries. He faces five counts of burglary covering the period from 21 December 2023 to 3 January 2024.
No Fixed Address Suspect to Face Court
Slingsby, who has no fixed address, is due before Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 11 January to answer the charges. Police continue to investigate the break-ins to bring justice to affected villagers.
