Six Charged Over 2017 Penge Murder
Ryan Brown, 20, Jamie Marshall, 21, Divon Henry-Campbell, 22, plus three others have been charged with murder following a stabbing in Penge’s Betts Park nearly seven years ago.
Charged and Remanded in Custody
- Ryan Brown of Bywood Avenue, Croydon appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on 12 October. He’s been remanded in custody and will next appear at the Old Bailey on 17 October.
- Jamie Marshall from Burham Close, SE20 appeared in Exeter Magistrates’ Court on 13 October. He’s remanded and will appear at Truro Crown Court on 17 October.
- Divon Henry-Campbell, 22, from West Street, Gravesend appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on 14 October. He is remanded to next appear at the Old Bailey on 17 October.
Three More to Face Court
Sorraviho Smith, 22, Jason Smith, 19, and Nyron Jean-Baptiste, 21, have been charged by postal requisition. They will appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on 18 October.
Victim and Investigation Details
Michael, aged 17, died after being attacked and stabbed in Betts Park, Penge on 2 November 2017. The murder charges come after a long investigation by homicide detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command.
