An appeal for witnesses is being launched after a woman suffered serious injuries following a collision in Chichester.
Officers responded to the collision involving a red BMW and a 22-year-old woman on the driveway at a house in Church Road, between 1am and 1.15am on Tuesday, October 25.
The woman suffered multiple injuries, which were initially considered life threatening. She is now in a stable condition in hospital.
A 24-year-old man from Chichester has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and causing serious injury by careless driving. He has since been released on conditional bail whilst enquiries continue.
