Brighton police have nabbed three suspects for cocaine dealing after stopping a suspicious vehicle on the A259 on March 9. A search uncovered what officers believe to be cocaine, a hefty stash of cash, and several mobile phones.
Man Without Address Held Over Drug Supply and Immigration Charges
A 26-year-old man with no fixed address was arrested for suspected Class A drug supply and overstaying in the UK. He’s now been moved to 1 Services for further questioning.
Raids Uncover More Drugs and Cash at St Georges Road
Brighton and Hove’s Tactical Enforcement Unit followed up on intelligence, raiding an address on St Georges Road. They found large quantities of Class A drugs and cash.
Two More Men Arrested but Released on Bail
A 36-year-old from Hove and a 43-year-old from Ascot were also arrested for suspected drug supply. Both have since been released on conditional bail as the probe continues.
Investigator Praises Police Effort
Investigator Jonny Craze said: “The officers did a fine proactive job in stopping the vehicle and extending the investigation. We will keep pushing to make sure Brighton and Hove isn’t a safe haven for drug dealers.”
