Dangerous Knife Gangster Michael Fotis Busted in Nuneaton
Knife-Point Robbery Shocks Riversley Park
In January 2021, Michael Fotis joined a gang who terrorised three boys in Riversley Park at knifepoint. One victim had a blade pressed to his throat, while another was stabbed in the arm with a butterknife. The thugs made off with a phone, jacket, and bag.
Undercover Cops Catch Fotis Red-Handed
Police quickly arrested Fotis nearby after witnesses spotted him matching the gang’s description. Weeks later, plainclothes detectives from Nuneaton Proactive CID staked out a known drug hot spot on High Street.
They spotted a silver BMW pull up outside a house. Fotis emerged, exchanged something with the driver, and slipped an item into his trousers. Soon after, a group of known drug users arrived at the property before Fotis stepped out again.
Class A Drugs and Cash Seized
Officers detained Fotis and found a stash of class A drugs, over £400 in cash, and a burner phone popular among dealers. A house search uncovered cannabis and scales.
Fotis Pleads Guilty to Multiple Crimes
The 19-year-old, listed as having no fixed address, admitted to robbery, theft, possession with intent to supply heroin and cocaine, and possession of criminal property.
“Fotis is a dangerous man who thinks nothing of using threats of violence. He is also part of a drug dealing network that brings nothing but misery and violence to the streets of Nuneaton. Jail is quite clearly the best place for him.” — Detective Constable Dan Stanton, Nuneaton Proactive CID
