Two Drug Dealers Busted Operating from Vulnerable Person’s Home in Thanet
Caught Red-Handed in Ramsgate County Lines Sting
Two drug dealers have been slammed with tough jail sentences after being caught running a class A drug operation from a vulnerable person’s house in Ramsgate.
Deeq Mohammed, 20, and Patrick George, 29, admitted dealing heroin and crack cocaine between June and July 2025. On 14 July, police on patrol spotted suspicious activity near Hardres Street. Mohammed was seen sneaking into a nearby property. Officers swooped as he left through the back door, finding George waiting outside.
Massive Haul and Cash Seized in Dramatic Arrest
- Officers found bags of heroin and crack cocaine on George.
- Mohammed was caught with cash and a mobile phone.
- The vulnerable occupant of the house was also discovered inside.
- Police seized more drug-related items and a second phone linked to George.
Mohammed, from Westvale Mews, Acton, London, and George, who has no fixed address, were immediately arrested at the scene.
Long Jail Terms for County Lines Dealers
Phone checks exposed their role in a county lines drug network. Both men were charged the very next day.
At Canterbury Crown Court on 9 October, George was jailed for two years and eight months for possession with intent to supply heroin and crack cocaine. Mohammed received a longer sentence — four years and eight months in a young offenders’ institution for drug supply involvement.
Detective Sergeant Rachel Seymour said: “Drugs misuse brings nothing but misery to communities and particularly to those who are vulnerable to exploitation. The dealers are the root of the problem, and we will continue to stamp out their illegal activity by taking drugs off the street, disrupting the supply lines and ensuring criminals such as George and Mohammed are made to face the consequences of their actions.”
