A 30-year-old woman has been arrested after a fierce blaze ripped through a flat in Ribbleton, Preston.

Firefighters Race to Tackle Fierce Ribbleton Blaze

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service were scrambled just before 9pm on Sunday, 19 October to douse the fire on Farringdon Close.

At 8:56pm, three fire engines and a special appliance arrived from Preston, Bamber Bridge, and Hyndburn. Crews battled the flames using a jet, two hose reels, four breathing apparatus sets, and a positive pressure ventilation fan.

Woman Arrested for Arson, Now on Bail

The 30-year-old was arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life. She has since been released on bail under strict conditions as police continue their investigation.

No Injuries Reported Despite Intense Fire

Miraculously, no one was hurt during the fierce fire. Authorities are still probing the cause of the blaze as the investigation unfolds.
