Boy Hurt in Crash with Audi on Zebra Crossing
A 13-year-old boy was taken to hospital after a collision with a black Audi A3 on a zebra crossing at Manor Avenue and Ruskin Drive at 8.30pm on Wednesday, April 5, 2023.
Driver Arrested Over Suspected DUI
Emergency services rushed to the scene. The boy suffered a head injury but was discharged after treatment. A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence but has since been released under investigation. Police continue their enquiries.
Police Seek Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
PC Matt Leigh, GMP Road Policing Unit, said: “A boy attended hospital as a result of this collision and we wish him all the best for a full recovery. If anyone witnessed this collision or has any dashcam footage please get in touch with police as soon as possible.”
