Teen Killer Locked Up for Life in Leeds Murder
An 18-year-old has been jailed for life after being found guilty of killing Saymore T Kwashira in Leeds. Romaine James, from Reginald Mount, Leeds, was convicted last month at Leeds Crown Court.
Romaine James Slapped with Minimum 24 Years Behind Bars
Today, James was handed a life sentence with a minimum term of 24 years before he can even apply for parole. Justice has been served for the tragic murder.
Additional Jail Time for Weapons and Crime Spree
On top of the murder conviction, James was also sentenced for multiple other offences. These include:
- Two years for possession of ammunition
- Twelve months for carrying a machete
- Two months for handling stolen goods
- One month for criminal damage
All these sentences will run concurrently with his life term, keeping James behind bars for a long time to come.
