Traffic Chaos: Road Closed and Queues Backed Up

  • The road is fully closed due to the blaze.
  • Traffic was held prior to 17:10, then released using exit and entry slip roads to keep vehicles moving.
  • A separate breakdown at Junction 6 is compounding delays.
  • Queueing traffic remains a nightmare for drivers.

Emergency Services Battle Flames

Four fire engines and a water carrier from Kent Fire and Rescue are on the scene, tackling the fire. A diversion is in place, directing motorists to use slip roads to bypass the closure.

Drivers are urged to avoid the area if possible and expect delays.
