Police have discovered a body in their search for Christine Murton, a 78-year-old woman who vanished from Rushmere St Andrew.
Mystery Surrounds Death in Suffolk Woodland
Christine was last seen leaving her home on the morning of Wednesday, 12 November. She was reported missing that same evening.
Officers found a woman’s body on Monday afternoon, 24 November, in woodland near Stratton Hall, close to Levington.
No Suspicion but Formal ID Pending
The death is currently being treated as unexplained. Police say there are no suspicious circumstances at this time.
Christine’s family have been informed. Formal identification is yet to take place, and a file will be submitted to the coroner.
